What a LeveLuk machine can do — 30 ways to use it

pH 8.5–9.5

Drinking Kangen water, pH 8.5–9.5 (negatively charged, slightly alkaline, structured water)

When you start using a Kangen machine, Enagic recommends a gradual transition. Begin drinking Kangen water at pH 8.5; after two weeks you can move to pH 9.0, and two weeks later to pH 9.5.

Start your day with a glass of Kangen water to make up for the water lost overnight and to help the body clear toxins — 20 minutes BEFORE a meal and an hour AFTER it
For lemonades and herbal infusions, even at room temperature, keeping all their useful properties. You will also need less coffee to get the taste you are used to
Ideal for intestinal cleansing
For cooking soups. Dishes come out tastier and richer with fewer ingredients, and the cooking time gets shorter
For soaking meat, fish, poultry and offal and clearing them of harmful substances. Before cooking, leave meat or fish for 15 minutes in pH 9.5 water to remove parasites, excess blood and smell
Take natural vitamins and food supplements with Kangen water. It increases absorption and strengthens their action
It relieves a hangover
Give your pets pH 8.5 water — their health and appearance will improve and smells will lessen
For adding to whisky and other drinks to soften the taste

Kangen water has a tonic effect, so drinking it at night is not recommended

pH 7.0

Neutral water, pH 7.0

When we press the green button, the machine tells us it is making “clean” water. This is well-filtered water that has not gone through electrolysis. We need it in two cases:

First, if there is a newborn in the house. Children are born with a normal acid-alkaline balance, so baby food should be made with this water
Second, if someone in the family takes medication. Because Kangen water is alkaline (it can neutralise or, on the contrary, strengthen the effect of medicines such as antibiotics), medicines should be taken with clean water; then wait 30–40 minutes, and after that you can drink as much Kangen water as you like

pH 6.0

Beauty water, pH 6.0

For washing your face. This water matches the pH of our skin. Beauty water can be used to make cosmetics at home; it tightens the skin and makes it firm. Your own toner, in unlimited amounts
For soaking grains and pulses when sprouting them. It is in a slightly acidic environment that grains and plants gain their strength best, at pH 6.0
For cooking pasta and flour products. For boiling pulses and cereals
For boiling eggs. Even if an egg cracks while boiling, the white will not leak out
For polishing mirrors, glassware, windows and glasses
It easily removes dust from wooden and ceramic surfaces, leaving no sticky residue
For hair care. Use this water to rinse your hair after washing or when the air is dry. It gives hair a natural shine
Spray your pets before brushing — their coat will become soft and silky
For watering plants. Many plants like water below pH 7, and flowers in vases last longer

pH 2.5

Strong acidic water, pH 2.5

When we press the lowest button, the machine produces “strong acidic” water with an acid-alkaline balance of 2.5. The strong acidic water flows out of the lower hose and has a sharp smell and taste. This exceptionally valuable water at pH 2.5 was approved for disinfecting food products under the food hygiene law in June 2002 (in Japan). It is widely used for disinfecting products and premises in the food and medical industries. It is also widely used externally for conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis, and in other matters it has an invaluable healing effect

Bacteria and microbes do not survive in this environment. Strong acidic water kills E. coli and salmonella in 30 seconds
For gargling when you have a cold and for use in an irrigator (afterwards rinse with Kangen water to restore the mouth’s microflora). This is safer than using chemical rinses
For treating wounds and burns. It has been checked many times: if a light burn is treated with acidic water straight away, no wound appears
For disinfecting knives, chopping boards, sponges and cloths for washing up and cleaning. Wipe knives dry and dry sponges and cloths thoroughly
For disinfecting kitchen work surfaces
Strong acidic water is used to treat plants against pests, diluted 1:10
Strong acidic water can be sprayed on soft furniture and then vacuumed to remove smells and stains

pH 11.5

Strong Kangen (alkaline) water, pH 11.5

While acidic water flows from the lower hose, the water coming out of the upper hose is what we call “strong Kangen”. It has a pH of 11.5. This water has incredible cleaning properties. Imagine water that washes pesticides, herbicides and insecticides off fruit and vegetables. The products not only taste better, they also keep longer.

Soak vegetables and greens for 15 minutes before cooking to remove oil-based toxic fertilisers
Strong alkaline water is good for cleaning the kitchen, bathrooms and toilets without chemical detergents, which keeps your health and saves money

A LeveLuk K8 installed

A LeveLuk installation is fully automatic and very simple to operate. It not only tells you which water it is making at the moment, but also about the automatic cleaning process, about the water running too fast or too slow, and about changing the filter. The filter is changed every 6,000 litres. For a family of three, roughly once a year
